“I am not interested in faithful copying of reality neither of imitating it. I treat it as an initial product to create my own vision as setting for new stories and ideas. Imagining is the most interesting part”.

Rosłan uses cartoon style strongly departing from realism. He geometrizes reducing objects and figures to simple masses. He looks for interesting and dynamic shapes also giving them exaggerated character. The aspect of lighting of every scene plays very important role in his realizations. In his work he uses almost exclusively Wacom Cintiq 24 tablet and Photoshop. In the initial stage, while looking for ideas, he often uses pencil and paper. He is most interested in constructing space, architecture, various sceneries and fictitious places one wanted to be in. He considers sense of observation as crucial for creation because it is a pass to all human creativity and diversity of surroundings being sources of inspiration.

He is Architect Engineer graduated from Architecture and Urban Planning Department at Warsaw Technical University. He had an opportunity to take part in various projects including: a game “Disney Vacation Club Sweepstakes” or short animation “Casino Saga — Roulette Chase”, and also work on space concepts and its elements for Aviva Foundation spot “Wojna z rakiem”. He cooperated with the following: Ars Thanea, Platige Image or Nomadic.
