“If everything is restricted to sphere of fantasy, censorship has no justification”.
(Milo Manara)
Comparing works of Jędruszek a certain order is visible, characteristic colours and shapes. The direction he has chosen, he calls Neo-Cyber-Romanticism. Painting and literature in copious amounts had enormous impact on him in his childhood. Thus came his fondness for freedom of artistic expression and also interest in nature, people, emotions, music and history. All of this stimulates him to create for fans of card games, board games and book readers various imagination moving worlds. He also occasionally takes part in creation of concepts for video games. He started his career with pencil, ink and acrylic but most of his works he creates digitally. Jędruszek has been coming back to traditional techniques recently including oil paints.
He is a graduate of Architecture and Urban Planning at Silesian Technical University in Gliwice. He designed cards, board and figure games for “Game of Thrones”. He also created illustrations for online card games: “Legends of Norrath” and “Star Wars Galaxies”. For the last seven years he made about eighty pictures for the most popular card game in the world: “Magic: The Gathering”. He is a winner of many awards. His works were published in prestigious foreign publications including Exposé, Spectrum, Erotic Signature, Exotique or Digital Art Masters.
