  • born in Bydgoszcz

  • specializes in visual developments

“I have been interested in various fields of art and I wanted to do everything – from concepts, comics, illustrations and even film direction. Every line determines certain style and to decide which one to choose is troublesome. I feel though, the time has come to make this choice”.

He values grotesque in art, wry wit, play with conventions and these elements he tries to bring into his projects. He attaches much attention to light and colour, because, in his opinion, they are the strongest relays of emotions. He works mostly with use of digital media due to their serviceability, although the artist does not avoid traditional tools. Besides scenography, he likes to work on visual development or looking for style for an undertaking. He often works as artistic director of various projects. He draws energy for creation from nature and street photography. His other sources of inspiration are films and travel, although he has no time for the latter due to his numerous commitments. All of this helps him creating strange worlds on the verge of brutality and comicality.

His first important project he had a big creative part in was an animated featurette “Fallen Art”. He also wrote and directed “Animated Guide to Polish Success” intended for Expo 2010 in Shanghai. Currently he works on “Another Day of Life” – a film based on a book by Ryszard Kapuściński “Jeszcze dzień życia”, and on game “Cyberpunk 2077” for CD Projekt Red.
