“My art is my work and my passion at the same time. Besides the satisfaction of finishing a work of art, I also feel great joy at inventing a concept, a moment in which a note with an idea becomes a shape, reflecting the primary idea as well as many hours of drawing.”
Grzegorz Domaradzki completed two courses at the Workshop Graphics Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań (now the Artistic University), studying Metal Techniques under Professor Tadeusz Jackowski and Drawing under Professor Marek Zaborowski. He started his career in illustration before involving himself in computer graphics. He prefers to draw with a pencil or a pen, as well as the use of computer processing. He also paints in watercolour, acrylics and oil. Besides illustration, he makes posters and workshop graphics for silk-screen printing.
His work has been published in many foreign periodicals including “ESPN”, “Fortune”, “Metropolitan”, “Institutional Investor”, “Little White Lies”, “Advance Photoshop”, “Computer Arts”, “Bizzarro Magazine”, “Joia Magazine” and “Clone Magazine”. He was the Fryderyk 2009 prizewinner in the category of Special Publication for the best graphic layout for the design of the Silver Rocket album, “Tesla”, with co-artist, Mariusz Szypura. He has presented his work at many exhibitions in places such as New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Paris.
