“I certainly prefer “analogue” techniques such as watercolour, pen and, rarely, pencil. I like strong lines that cannot be drawn back or corrected. My works can be described as combination of strong lines with the subtlety of watercolour.”

Anna Halarewicz is a fashion illustrator and a painter. She graduated from the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts Workshop Graphics Department as a student of Professor Przemysław Tyszkiewicz. Anna Halarewicz’s illustrations have been published in the following Polish and international periodicals: “Twój Styl”. “Elle”, “Harper’s Bazaar”, “Wprost”, “Viva! Moda”, “Longue Magazyn”, “Newsweek Polska”, “Fashion Magazine”, “Glamour”, “OOB Magazine” and “Conceptual Magazine”. She also creates book illustrations and has worked for fashion brands such as Bizuu, La Mania, Tatuum, Orska, Pandora, Klif Fashion House.

In 2012, her work featured in Julia Schonlau’s publication, “1000 Portrait Illustrations. Contemporary Illustration from Pencil to Digital”. In 2015, a catalogue, “Tribute of…”, was published for Alexander McQueen, including Anna Halarewicz’s illustrations inspired by her favourite show by the designer, “Horn of Plenty” (2009). This edition was strictly limited to 200 copies. Her works were also included in the album “Artists About Themselves. Self Portraits of Polish Artists.” from Andrzej Cereliński’s collection. She has presented her art at many exhibitions at home and abroad.
