  • born 1984 in Warsaw
  • lives and works in Warsaw

“I am extremely happy I can live doing what I love most. I know there is a long way ahead of me before I could with clear conscience call myself an artist. That is why I try to learn something new every day and work on my development. In the same time I have a hope the day I’d be able to say – I achieved everything in drawing – will never come”.

Pągowska draws characters and figures in a bit stylized proportions. She uses natural colours and simple means of expression and via them gives her project aura of mystery and understatement. She often uses spare mimics and gestures and also symbolics. She calls her style semi-realistic. Her art is a mixture of two different worlds – West and Far East, especially culture of Korea she spent almost five years in. Mostly she creates using digital tools including Photoshop. She rarely uses precise initial sketches. She allows ideas to evolve naturally and sometimes changes some elements on an advanced stage choosing different solutions. She loves freedom drawing gives and lack of necessity to follow the rules of real world.

She was graduated MA of Cultural Studies from Oriental Studies Department of Warsaw University with specialization in Korean Studies. She also finished Sogang University Game Education Center in South Korea graduated Engineer of Multimedia at Game Graphics & Animation faculty. She works for Techland as a concept artist with production of computer games and after hours as an illustrator mostly designing card and feature games and books. She worked on the following: “Lords of The Fallen” or “Sniper Ghost Warrior 3”.
